This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from NYSA NMU.

Please read through the items below before continuing with your childs registration, as we have a few reminders and program updates.
 

NYSA is excited to announce the addition of the Pre-K division to the 2024 Fall Recreation Program line up!  There are some slight differences from our regular fall program -  let's take a look! 

• The Pre-K division will be made up of coed teams.
• The season will kick off September 3 and run through October 26.
• There will be one practice per week.  The coach will choose the day of the week, based on field and coach availability.
• There will be 7 games played in the season. 1 per week, taking place on Saturday's beginning September 14.  Location and time will be announced as we draw closer to the start of the season. 
• The Pre-K division will follow all NYSA policies, uniform requirements, and team formation guidelines.

Registration Fees for the 2024 Fall Recreation Program are as follows*:

Early Bird Registration, February 21 – 27
Kinder thru High School - $255.00 per player
Pre-K only - $175.00 per player

Open Registration, February 28 – May 7,
 Kinder thru High School - $275.00 per player
Pre-K only - $185.00 per player

Limited Late Registration IF space is available, May 8 – Aug 1,
Kinder thru High School - $295.00 per player
Pre-K only - $195.00 per player

*To participate in the 2024 Fall League Recreation League, players MUST be 4 ½ years of age (born on or before Feb 1, 2020) by August 1, 2024.

Entering a false birth date or grade in school will adversely affect your registration. At the appropriate time during the registration process, enter your child's birth date and grade in school accurately.  

If you choose the wrong grade for your child, reassignment to the appropriate age group will be based upon space availability at the time the error is determined.   

If the age group you are registering your child for is full, please contact the registrar to be placed on the waitlist.  If space becomes available, you will be contacted with the opportunity to register for the season.  The league registrar may be contacted at:  registrar@novatosoccer.com

Please be advised that NYSA reserves the right to request your child’s birth certificate to verify their birth date at any time.

Parents!!!  PLEASE NOTE!!  If your player is 18 years of age and older or will be turning 18 during this season please review:

The Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017 (the “SafeSport Act”) requires players 18 years of age and older and any player that turns 18 years of age during any given season, to complete the US Club Soccer SafeSport training. For more information regarding this national mandate, please visit: https://usclubsoccer.org/safesport/   

Per this Act a player’s registration will not appear on an Official Roster until these requirements are complete and approved.

Our general refund policy is in effect for requests for refunds for any reason OTHER than the cancellation of the 2024 season or restriction of competition due to local health mandates and/or orders, and as determined by NYSA.

NYSA, at its discretion, may provide a partial refund of registration fees as noted in the following guidelines:

Refund Requests Received Feb 21 - May 31, 2024

Families may request a refund of their recreation league registration fees paid, less an administrative processing fee of $70.00 and any credit card processing fees paid at the time of registration.

Refund Requests Received June 1 – July 31, 2024

Families may request a refund of their recreation league registration fees paid, less an administrative processing fee of $140.00 and any credit card processing fees paid at the time of registration.

Any Volunteer Opt Out fees paid will be included in the refunded amount for all refund requests.

Refund Requests Received August 1, 2024 – Season End

Registration refund requests made August 1 or later will not be eligible for a refund of any amount. * 

*Exceptions include:

Players experiencing a season-ending injury will be granted a pro-rated refund based on the number of games left in the season.  A signed and dated letter from a doctor stating such will be required.

Recreation registration fees for the 2024 fall season will be refunded in full for any player that has tried out for AND accepted a position on a North Marin United team for the 2024/25 season. 

In all cases, registration fees will not be transferred to any other person or family member, to pay for other NYSA programs, or for next year’s registration fees.

Donations made to NYSA during the registration process are not refundable. 

Credit card processing fees will not be refunded.
